History
of IPC
Internists,
PC is recognized as one of the finest medical practices
in the area. Internists,
PC was founded in the late 1920’s by Dr Ben Wolverton.
An internist specialist in the practice of internal medicine specializes
in the branch of medicine relating to the diagnosis and non-surgical treatment
of internal organs and functions of the adult body.
An Internist obtains a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree followed by
a hospital-based training program, or residency, of several years duration. Some
of our Internists have additional years of training called Fellowships to
become sub-specialists in internal medicine. After formal education
and examinations to become qualified as a specialist or sub-specialist in
internal medicine, the Internist is prepared for Board Certification. Internists
PC has general internal medicine physicians and sub-specialists in the following
areas: Pulmonary (lungs), Critical Care (patients in intensive care),
Sleep (sleep apnea) , Infectious Diseases (treatment of infections),
Nephrology (kidneys) and Gastroenterology (Stomach and Intestines).
Internists are broadly educated to deal with the wide range of adult
health care problems. So whether your needs are simple or complex,
the physicians of Internists, PC can help you! |
